Iโ€™m planning a 3-month trip to South America later this year and I want to hit the best trails. Iโ€™ve already got Torres del Paine (W-trek) and the Inca Trail on my list.

What else am I missing? Any hidden gems in Colombia or Ecuador? I prefer high altitude and dramatic views. ๐Ÿ”๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ

@Mountain_Mike If you're going to Torres del Paine, definitely do the O-Circuit instead of the W if you have the time (and the fitness). It's way less crowded on the back side and the view from the John Gardner Pass is life-changing. ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธโ„๏ธ

Check out the Cordillera Huayhuash in Peru. Itโ€™s much tougher than the Inca Trail but the views are arguably better. You're constantly surrounded by 6000m peaks. Itโ€™s fairly remote, so make sure youโ€™re well-equipped or go with a group. safe travels! ๐ŸŽ’๐ŸŒŸ
